In addition to participating in  EU mobility conferences, journals and workshops, DATASET2050 organized specific events at its key milestones. mixing internal and external presentation on hot mobility topics. Bidirectional communications (external feedback plus results dissemination) are fostered in these events. Their celebration have been crucial for DATASET2050 success!

Final DATASET2050 event

27th November 2017, Belgrade (SESAR Innovation days)

The main aim was to present all the project results and outcomes in the project, pointing to future research avenues and next steps.

Final event in conjunction with ASDA tournament on same topic (Multimodality) covering interesting topics such as Cybersecurity, multimodality metrics, multimodal optimization, door to door models etc.

European door-to-door mobility workshop

20th September 2017, Google Campus Madrid.

The workshop had the main goal of making public the results from the mobility assessment done on demand and supply of (air) transport services and presenting insights on the methodology used.

The attendees/presenters included a European Commission (DG MOVE) representative, airlines, airports, ANSPs, EUROCONTROL, other transport modes, research institutes, universities, consultancies and ICT researchers.

The 4 hour D2D challenge in Europe – Are we heading the right direction?

12 July 2016, University of Westminster, London

The session had the main goal of making the data-driven model public to the air transport community, together with the different datasets used. It allowed us to gather input from multi-modality stakeholders for model refinement.

The event was composed of DATASET2050 presentations, external presentations (NATS, H2020 PASSME project, TU Berlin) and debate/ample Q&A sessions.
